Fish Patagonia Caleufu River

Patagonia Float Trip + Lodge – Two Jan Launches

July 14, 2025

Kick Off 2026 with a Patagonia Float + Lodge Combo

This January, we’ve got only two exclusive trips that combine one of Patagonia’s finest multi-day float trips with a stay at a classic trout lodge. If you’re thinking about a fishing trip this winter, this 7-night itinerary packs a lot in.

Patagonia Float trip

2 Nights / 3 Days Fishing & Camping on the Scenic Rio Caleufu

After breakfast, you’ll be picked up at your local hotel to begin a 2-night, 3-day float down the Caleufu River. Our camp crew pampers anglers with roomy tents, cots, and lodge-level cuisine. As we move downstream, you’ll fish new water each day in solitude—targeting healthy populations of Browns and Rainbows with dry flies and streamers. The Caleufu offers long runs, classic riffles, and deep pools that hold the river’s largest Browns.

4 Nights / 3 Days fishing at Collón Curá Lodge

You’ll finish your float and transfer just 40 minutes to hot showers, cozy beds, and rustic elegance at the renowned Collón Curá Lodge. For three days, anglers will fish the productive Collón Curá River—known for its high catch rates, varied water types, and big trout. From the lodge, you’ll enjoy unmatched access to the river’s best sections, great meals, excellent wine, and first-class service.

Why This Works

This itinerary is perfectly balanced—starting the week with a remote, adventurous float and ending in the comfort of a premier lodge. It’s ideal for families or a small group of friends looking to maximize time on the water, fly fish Patagonia’s scenic backcountry, and fish different rivers.
